If your child is on medications for a chronic condition such as asthma, allergies, migraines, ADD or acne we require that there is a follow up visit every 3-6 months depending on the condition. Therefore if you call for a refill on medication and it has been a long time since the last follow up we will request that you come in the office first.
For routine refills we ask that you give us at least 4-7 days advance notice in order to process your refill.
Certain medications such as controlled substances cannot be called in. Instead you will be required to pick up the prescription from the office.
We cannot give refill on antibiotics unless the patient is seen. As an office policy we do not call in antibiotics over the phone.
